A little about our founder…
Vanessa Augustus started working in the voluntary sector aged sixteen. At twenty-two she was appointed Chairperson to an innovative social enterprise and served as a Board Member for an organisation specialising in supported accommodation for young people.

Over a period of ten years, working closely with a range of stakeholders, Vanessa increased her knowledge and experience of how social and environmental leaders could learn from the private sector in order to become sustainable social enterprises.

Vanessa is Head of the SSA Innovation Team and was listed as a winner in the Future 100 Young Entrepreneurs 2009, in June 2010 Vanessa was invited to join Fellowship of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
